ModestMeasure publishes carefully researched buying guides, so you can compare products and pick one with confidence.
Right now our guides focus on home EV chargers for electric car owners with a garage or driveway, and we add new guides over time.
What we cover right now
Our guides cover Level 2 and portable home EV chargers, Tesla, NACS and J1772 connectors, install and safety questions, and brands such as ChargePoint, Emporia, Grizzl-E and Autel. We compare models side by side so you can see the trade-offs.
What we do
We read the product details, specs and maker information for every charger we cover. We also look at what buyers often say after using one.
Then we turn it all into plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. You can read more on our How we research page.
What we don't do
We don't sell chargers, and no brand pays us to rank its products.
We don't give wiring steps or electrical advice. Hardwired and 240-volt installs belong to a licensed electrician.
We don't claim to have tested every product ourselves. When we pick something, we tell you why, based on its specs, its features and buyer feedback.
